The service of a four-star hotel is not as good as that of a three-star hotel in Thailand. It is just big, the service is not up to par, and the air-conditioning is not very cold.
And the first time I saw a bunch of wild dogs at your door at the resort

Me & my husband visit Cinnamon Village Habarana on 25 th of Feb. this hotel experience was absolutely amazing. The staff were kind and attentive and greatly welcomed us. The food was yummy with a international buffet it’s unforgettable . Favorite part of food was deserts. 🙂 As a whole experience, that hotel surrounding, foods , hospitality are excellent, I’m Highly recommend this hotel to couples for unforgettable experience

Just incredible. room location was amazing, in front of the lake with that amazing sunset, super profissional staff and the singer that is performing during the night is really really nice. Regarding restaurant, the breakfast and dinner buffet are super complete full of options and quality. We spent 3 incredible nights there.

Stayed at this hotel in early June in 2024 with two of my French Travrl Agents. Whatever, though the hotel looks fine, my French principals found that the accommodation is not up to the standards compared to the competitive hotels nearby. Staffs too, not much welcoming as far as the Cinnamon hospitality is concerned.

This hotel had a nice welcoming area and was by a large lake. It is primarily used by large groups who are travelling Sri Lanka so as a couple it meant we had to sit away from the main restaurant as the tables were set up for large groups. Food was ok. Service hit and miss which is all of Sri Lanka. Room was large but the shower/wet room needed replacing as the water ran all round the room when used!

Lovely hotel in a gorgeous setting by the lake. Individual villas which were very comfortable in a colonial style. Great to have a long length mirror and a dressing table with a mirror above in the bedroom. Only slight niggle was the side tables are not aligned with the side of the bed. Our housekeeping man was excellent, very helpful and friendly. The bar and restaurant areas are great. They even had a duo signing live one night. The thing the hotel could improve upon is the friendliness of the reception staff. All the other staff we encountered were brilliant. Would definitely recommend this hotel for a couple of nights.

The welcome was very good. The rooms was lovely but after that; the service was awful! Glasses and plates left all around the pool area and on tables in the lounge. When you requeated something, it was either extremely slow arriving or on a few occasions, completely forgotten about! Nobody around the pool area to flag down to get a drink.
Numerous times in the evening I had to go to the bar after requesting drinks that didnt arrive.
Staff stood around talking instead of monitoring the area qnd cleaning tables.
Took a night off eating spicy food and opted for some western food which was shocking!
Drinks and wine especially are very expensive.
All in all, a lovely place but very poor servive!
